Outdoors With Essential Oils
Join us for a fun class and learn how essential oils can be used as natural alternatives to all your outdoor needs. We are excited to have Sabrina Lamberth from Doterra join us to teach this class. Sabrina is a Wellness Advocate RN and loves teaching women about natural alternatives using essential oils.
"If you have ever enjoyed the scent of a rose, you’ve experienced the aromatic qualities of essential oils. These naturally occurring, volatile aromatic compounds are found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. They can be both beautifully and powerfully fragrant. Essential oils give plants their distinctive smells, essential oils protect plants and play a role in plant pollination. In addition to their intrinsic benefits to plants and their beautiful fragrance, essential oils have long been used for food preparation, beauty treatment, and health-care practices."
During this class, you will relax in the great outdoors and learn how to use natural plant therapy essential oils on your outdoor adventures. Like how to protect yourself with natural bug repellent, how to protect your skin from the sun, first aid uses, how to ease your sore muscles after your adventures, and finally how to relax after your exciting day.
You are also welcome to join us on the Mountain Creek Nature Trail, 3.2-mile hike after class. This is an easy section and is also one of the prettiest. There is a section that we call The Magical Forest. This is a great way to end a relaxing, informative, and fun day.
