Hike & Learn

Hike & Learn

Join us for a group hike on one of our favorite trails. We will hike the 3.2-mile Mountain Creek Nature Trail. Though less strenuous, it is also one of the prettiest as it passes through several plant habitats. Summer is upon us so we will learn about water treatment, heat-related illnesses, and how much water you should consume on a hike.

We will meet at Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park inside the campground at the Trading Post. We will begin our hike promptly at 1:00 so please arrive a few minutes early to check-in. You will need to stop at the Park Office to purchase a parking pass.

You can pay cash on-site but please let us know if you plan to attend.

GETTING THERE:

DIRECTIONS TO CAMPGROUND
