Iron Braid Hiker
This class is great for beginner hikers or those that would like to start hiking. Join us and learn everything you need to know to safely explore the trails. We will review nutritional needs and water intake, first aid, survival items you should always carry with you, proper shoes and lacing techniques, wildlife, trail safety, trail etiquette, and much more.
Hiking is great for your body, mind, and overall happiness. We encourage you to embrace all the benefits that nature provides us. While exploring our wild places, we have a responsibility to know how to be good stewards. This class will teach you how to safely explore and what our responsibilities are.
DIRECTIONS TO CAMPGROUND
Continue for 3 miles until you reach the Visitor Center. Across the street from the Visitor Center is the entrance to the Camp Ground.
You will need to purchase a parking pass, $5.00. You can stop at the Park Office to purchase.
We will provide additional instructions when you register.
