Join our Efforts - WE NEED YOU!
Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Pine Mountain Trail. Join friends and neighbors to give back to the trail that we love.
There is a problem on the trail and we need to raise our hands and say we will help. In the Fall of 2016 the drought began to kill a bunch of trees along the trail. We have hundreds of dead or dying trees. Many of these trees are dropping limbs weekly. The dead trees are opening up the canopy and weeds are a real problem along the trails.
Join us November 10th @ 10:00
They only have a few people that show up to help and more volunteers are desperately needed to help keep the trails safe and enjoyable.
Meet us at FDR State Park Office parking lot. The PMTA will furnish all the tools and fun.
I recommend bringing the following:
Water (enough for the day)
Comfortable durable shoes and clothes
There are so many ways you can help on work days no matter what your physical abilities are, so join us!
