Pine Mountain Trail Association
The purpose of this organization is to enhance, preserve and promote the Pine Mountain Trail and the connecting loop trails within FDR State Park.
Goals of the Pine Mountain Trail Association
- Maintaining and expanding the existing 43 miles of trail.
- Promoting the outdoors and hiking.
- Preserving the environment and wilderness.
- Maintaining an informative website and Facebook page
- Providing to FDR State Park and the public an accurate topo style trail map and Kids map
The PMTA needs your help maintaining the 43 miles of trail to keep them safe and clear for everyone to enjoy. As you can imagine, it takes a lot of work and a lot of volunteers to accomplish this. Volunteer and enjoy the great outdoors! We are offering 20% off coupons for those that volunteer for the PMTA.
Volunteer Work Day Schedule
Meet at the Park Office (Visitors Center) parking lot. Bring work gloves, water, and snacks.

June 9th 10:00 - 12:30
July 14th 9:00 - 12:00
Every time you attend a Work Day you will receive a 20% off coupon to be used on any of our Events or Classes.
