The Monthly Dirt | December 2018

“The most wonderful time of the year”

Childhood memories flood my thoughts this time of year. The smells, sights and sounds that make our spirits bright. We wish you all a Merry Christmas!

We have some fun events for December that we hope you will join us for. We will begin with the Mrs. Clause Night Out for all you ladies to relax and have fun before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season begins. We hope you will join us for our Reindeer Hike with your family or friends.

Fun Holiday Family Games

Marshmallow Munch: Supplies needed - mini marshmallows, hot chocolate, small cups. Race to be the first to eat a small bowl of mini marshmallows and drink a cup of hot chocolate.

Naughty or Nice: Supplies needed - red and green candies, bowls, paper to label bowls naughty and nice. Set out bowls full of red and green candies, making sure to have the same amount in each one. Players must quickly go through a bowl of red and green candies and divide the candies (one candy at a time) into separate bowls across the room labeled naughty or nice. Red candies go into the naughty bowl and green candies go into the nice bowl.

Rudolph Race: Supplies - Red poms, Vaseline, and Rudolph posters. Give each player a red pom pom and a spoonful of vaseline. Players have to race to be the first person to put a red pom pom on Rudolph’s nose (make sure to put a bit of vaseline on his nose as well) on the other side of the room. To play, players must dip their nose into the spoonful of vaseline then get the red pom pom to stick to the vaseline on their nose. Once the red pom is on their nose, they must move across the room and stick it to Rudolph’s nose. The catch? They can’t use their hands at any time.

A parade dances through the streets and Santa debuts with Mrs. Claus. Mrs. Clause is about to have a busy holiday season and deserves a relaxing and fun night before all the hustle and bustle begins. Join us for an evening of fun, food, holiday treats, presents and laughter around the campfire.
